Wildlife Management

  • Sharpshooting

Accuracy is everything when considering the humane application of lethal wildlife intervention. Sharpstone prides itself on the proficiency of its operators. Our sharpshooters train rigorously in a wide range of applications from elevated platforms to ground shooting techniques. Our team is also experienced and competent in nocturnal (Night) shooting applications where thermal and infrared imagery is a necessity to accurately dispatch targets.

  • Targeted Trapping

With licensed trappers and lifelong outdoorsmen on our team, we can effectively deploy a variety of live traps and kill traps. Whether the goal is Wild Boar sounder trapping, or live trap deployment for species research we can tailor a trapping program to meet a wide range of ecological requirements.

  • Veteran Cull Operations

Culling can be a controversial procedure. However, in many cases, a cull can have a profoundly positive impact on the affected populations by removing at-risk or invasive inhabitants from the landscape. Sharpstone can lean on both the veteran community and local communities to collaborate and develop low-impact cull programs. We vet, educate, and in some cases provide competency training to our shooters to implement vested participants in the field. Wherever able to, we mandate that the meat harvested from a cull, if approved for consumption, can be given to local communities and charity food banks.
